So, the Blue
Ridge Mountain National in Lexington, Virginia was a good way to get out
of the cold for the weekend and get on the bike. The track was
interesting with the relatively easy first straight, followed by a tough
rhythm section out of the first turn. Then came a longer third straight
that had a step-up, three doubles, then a step down into the flat last
turn. Final straight featured a couple rollers before the sprint to the
line. Elite Open ran with Travis Jurrell taking his first pro win on
Day 1. Jeff Upshaw was back on his A-game Sunday and took the win with
some crazy lines through the rhythm section. Moto counts stood right
around 110 for both days.
