Last Chance National: That pretty much sums it up. Last chance for everyone to get their points in before the NBL's Grand Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. The weekend saw some rain, but the officials kept everything going. The facilities in Bethel are great and the track volunteers put on a great race. Unfortunately I could not make it out to the racec personally, so some of the images and the commentary may be a little clueless, or out of the ordinary. Anyways, scroll on down and check out what we have to offer.
Here we have some Elite Open pull down the first straight. We have the #02 of Harley Kelley sticking his nose out with the likes of Justin Travis and Nick St. Lawrence on his rear wheel.
Here we have some 16-29 Open action with the National #6 of Emiliano Mollea riding for Dan's Competition leading the MCS ride of Phil Delizia.
35+ Expert ride of Kelley Kelley leading the way on the 747 GWP ride.
17x Fast Phil Delizia getting some practice in.
Here we have some of the 16x main charging down the hill and over the stepup for Saturday's main event. The National #5 of Currier took the win for Bizzarro Racing followed by Dick Sonne's Racing's Jeremy Rauch.
15x action courtesy of the National #7, AJ Bontorno doing it for the Hurricane/Staats crew.
Chris Childs, 14x on the #627 was flying this weekend.
Elliot McGrath leading the 13x class out of the first turn. Check out the lead he is already carrying for Dans Comp.
Here we have another Dan's kid leading the way. This time however it is Bustos on the front side of the 12x main for Saturday.
Unfortunately the lead fell apart and Bustos went down hard. Here he is tangled with Aggro Racing's Shaun O'Connor.
