Northeast Regional:
Westfield, Massachusetts

The Bay State Indoor Regional which took place in Westfield, Massachusetts gave a bunch of BMXers a break from the cold, and a chance to ride their bikes.  The track volunteers and organizers did a great job with the track.  The dirt berms provided some crazy action that we rarely see.
Unfortunately, the indoor light once again wreaked havoc on the camera and some of the pictures.  It seems that no matter what, the cameras dont like indoor races.  Whether its just the light or the dust I have no idea.  But, feel free to check out what we do have to offer.

Here we have a shot of the first straight from the starting hill.  The first straight featured a pair of rollers, followed by a table and then a step up leading into the super wide first turn.

Here we havea another shot of the first straight, this time taken from the tower behind the first turn.

The second straight started off with a table, then a double, and then a big step-up, whcih led into the second turn.  There were not too many people hitting the double and the step up.  One rider who did have that line dialed however was Matt Markie, he pulled some sweet moves jumping that one.

The third straight was a six roller rhythm section. There were different lines being carried through here all day long, as well as some setups for some big moves in the last berm.  The last straight had a small step up with some flat to pedal to the line.
