Well it is the first weekend in Febuary in upstate New York, and that can only mean one thing for local BMX'ers and Downhillers: Snowfari.  This is an annual winter type festival that benefits the Utica Zoo.  The activities take place on the Val Bialis ski area in Utica.  While I was there I managed to catch a few photos.  Check them out.

Nicole Capirci took the win in the girls class.  Here she is heading for the finish line.

Here we have crazy Dave Sbiroli who made his first Snowfari appearance, finishing second behind Greg Nelson, who has won many a snowfari championship.

Here is the parting shot.  Greg Nelson thought the best way to clear the finish line double would be to ramp off of it with his face.  Unfortunately thats not how it worked.  Greg was however able to grab the win.  That leaves the rest of us with another year of hearing all about the reigning Snowfari Champion.  Until next year Greg, when my leg is working again.
